These are a few of Room 4's Anzac Day stories. We hope you enjoy reading them.

The soldiers went on a boat to an Island. The island was called Gallipoli and was a long way away. They were sleeping in tents and they went to fight. The soldiers that were wounded went on the back of a Donkey which took them to the Doctors tent.
On Anzac Day we remember the soldiers that died.

The soldiers went to Gallipoli to fight the war and they were scared. They couldn't eat any food because there was not enough for them to eat.
On Anzac Day we remember the soldiers that died.  Thank you.

In the army they had to travel in boats because thy had no cars or planes or even  buses. That is why thy went in a boat. They had guns and tin helmets to protect themselves and they were very brave.
The army had donkeys to take them to hospital because they didn't have ambulances. Soldier Jack was an ambulance person.

Thank you Dad for saving our lives. I will always remember you.

Hundreds and hundreds of soldiers were in a battle.  They had to leave their families and go in a boat to an island.  There was no hospital so they had a tent for a hospital instead. They had donkeys for ambulances.
We say thank you to them.

The soldiers were nervous in the boats because they did not want to die. The hurt soldiers were going to the hospital tent. Come back soldiers. Thank you soldiers.
